Why?

- Brand new, it cost a few hundred, rather than a few thousand.

- Included was a very sturdy case.

- The thing (again) was a dead-ringer for a 20K.

- The lacquer was tough enough to unsolder the valveset, rebuild it to proper tolerances, and reinstall it without even any lacquer touch-up.

I sold it for $1300, made a little money, and the thing is STILL going strong (This was probably 12 years ago!).

I wish I could find more...
