Check with your local university library to see if they have a copy of "The New Langwill Index: a Dictionary of Musical Wind-Instrument Makers and Inventors" by W.R. Waterhouse (1993)

"Serenader" is probably what is known as a "stencil" marque; that is, the instrument was made by someone else (e.g. Conn) and the "Serendader" logo applied instead of the actual maker. Langwill's contains a list of these "stencils" and the actual maker.
