well... there are kits that you can buy with little snake brushes... that helps alot, also any kind of really lite oil is good. i havent played the tuba in almost a year so i forget the good brands... but i remember there was a little bottle of pink oil that worked better than anything else... also a little white vasaline sized container of grease is what i used and never had a problem.
