Rudolf Meinl makes fine F tubas, and I've enjoyed playing them since 1986. However, some people prefer other F tubas, for various reasons. Meinl Weston (or Melton) has made good F tubas for a long time, and their model 45SLP is very popular now. I'd suggest trying every horn you can get your hands on before making a decision.
