Happy Memorial Day, all. I'm kind of a new lurker to the board and have contributed to an occational topic. I'm one of those players who keeps a day job so I can continue enjoying my horn in what I consider my real life. I have read conversation in the past from other amatuers who want playing opportunities outside of school or other limited peformances and would like to present my group as an example of what can be done if you are not concerned with making a living as a tubist. This group, The Jeffco Brass Ensemble, is part of the Jeffco Community Band in Arvada, Colorado. We have just recently gotten a web page up and running and I would like to show it off a bit. (Netscape does not show the photo album for some reason.) I can't say enough good about the community band as a place to work out the chops.
