Amazing is a good word for this model. I've only seen two of them and both are gems. I know of two more, (including yours, now) and all have this same silver/gold wash bell finish. It's hard to describe what is so great about them, but if you play one you'll know right away! The tone is gorgeous and the pitch is better than any sousaphone I've played. It takes very little effort to play from ppp right up to fff. I do about four parades a year, (three on this Memorial Day weekend) and this horn makes me look forward to them! Anyone else out there have an example of one of these horns?
