I've had this burbling problem as well. I've found that the best way to fix it is simply to relax the chops (don't tighten as you go in to that register) and blow faster air. My problem is that I try to use the same kind of air as I use for playing below that register and I tighten up. When I do that, the notes *sometimes* come out but the tone is pinched, and my accuracy suffers big time. I think that the burbling sound comes from the embouchure being too tight in some places but relaxed in other places and two different kinds of vibrations occur, but I'm just speculating.

Hear the pitch and blow. Don't think about your embouchure - just keep it relaxed and let it vibrate. I'm finding that the less I think about my chops the better they work. "Song and Wind" works every time, if you let it.
