Hi Don,
You can replace the old style small mouthpiece receiver, with a new larger receiver
as fitted to the more modern Besson Sovereign tubas.
This will open up the sound of the instrument and make it play more freely.
Be carefull with the type of mouthpiece you use, as these instruments allways
play a little on the flat side.
