Have tried: Wick 3L, Wick 2L and are now playing a Conn Helleburg. I like the thin rim of the CH and I think a 32.5mm rim size is a good size for me, but when playing sustained notes loudly my tone and intonation suffer - same when cresendoing. Been playing the CH for about 5 months. What do I do now? Keep plugging away with the CH? Anyone recommend some other Mpcs for me to try? I play in a brass band and sometimes play in solos and this is the only horn I play.
