Seriously, when you are selling ANYTHING, the price that you paid has (unfortunately sometimes, and other times VERY fortunately) ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with what it is worth.
One time, I had to sell a property that I was living in and working out of for a $$,$$$ga-jillion less than I paid for it, and I thought that I paid a reasonable price. Your tuba will sell, if you offer it for no more than the highest amount of money that someone (who knows that it is for sale) is willing to pay.
