Arnold Jacobs once told me of an encounter with a famous Russian tubist from Moscow. His English was almost none existant, but he bragged to Mr. Jacobs "I play Bydlo on the largest BBb tuba in Moscow". After all, a Ukrainian peasant singing in an Ox Cart is not likely to sound like a cultured Parisian singer!
Also Mr. Jacobs sometimes played Bydlo on his York.
