I saw a new 62H at the Eastern Trombone Workshop this spring. I did not get a chance to play it but I did hold it and notice things like balance and other 62H-like things. I don't think that it had the tuning in the slide like the old 62H. Essentially, it is a Conn bass trombone with two valves. My experience with newer Conn bass trombones has been generally good.
