Folks in the KC area looking for something tuba related to fill their Friday evening on ITD should take note. The NorthStar community band will be performing at Oak Park High School in Gladstone. The concert starts at 7:30pm and is made up primarily of patriot stuff. Through judicious prodding of the powers that be(we declared it) we formed a very good T/E quartet and will be performing Baby Elephant Walk, Requiem for a Dead Little Cat, Mercy Mercy Mercy and several other very cool peices. The final peice of the evening will be Stars and Stripes. For the encore(presuming folks don't just run out the door screaming) I will perform the picolo part for the stars and stripes with the band. It should be a lot of fun. If you come up and introduce yourself afterwords there might be free beer in it for you. ;b
