I remember noticing that LED clocks and TV's and such would vibrate like that; I'd even try to "tune" to them to see if I could make the waves stop. But, they're almost a quarter step away from any note (in the realm of A440, anyway).
Us tubas in pep band were the only ones who held the music books instead of using a stand. The flip folder-sized music would become unreadable at more than arm's distance because the tuba-induced vibration would blur the music so badly.
