Hello,

I have to jump on the composer bandwagon. I feel that these notes have been written by very capable composers. It is their wishes that we play what is written on the page. That is why they went to the trouble of writing these parts. Did the composers hear the note down an octave when they wrote the piece? I doubt it. Even though the equipment has changed over the years...the parts have not. Composers have a certain concept of chords and harmonies. I think we owe it to them to respect their works enough play the ink.

Sean D.
