It's in BBb. It's very small and light.

I could play over the range of the instrument, and all the pitches were recogniseable, but it's stuffy and not very resonant (hardly surprising given the significant damage to the second-largest bow of the instrument). At the top turn (near the bell, but on the outer edge) the damaged tubing is very crushed. Similar (but less severe damage) at the start of that same bow (i.e. just after the bottom bow if the instrument is upright). The bell flare is in bad shape.

The valves and cluster are in OK condition*, but the valves would be leaky, and there would be other leaks too, in the most damaged areas.

So, in summing up: stuffy and leaky, but fully chromatic.

* Of course I didn't try to move the valve slides!
