For solo purposes or brighter playing, the Bobo inspired Mirafone C4 or its Schilke copy, the 69C4, is an excellent piece. I personally love the contoured rim, and the shallower cup allows for great clarity and makes it a little easier to skip around on the horn than with a much deeper, orchestral oriented mouthpiece. A while back, Joe S made a post about opening up the somewhat tight backbore on these. I tried it, and it makes a good mouthpiece even better. Here is a link to that discussion. Depending on what concept of sound you have, this could be what you are looking for in an F tuba mouthpiece, or as a secondary mouthpiece to brighten your tone color for certain situations.
