What is the range involved in this piece? Also, are there any recordings of it available? I am currently working on the VW right now (like almost every other tuba player on the planet) and I would like to start working on another piece that was written (or arranged) with a CC tuba in mind. Somehow I have a feeling 'ole VW didn't have a 186-5U in mind when he wrote the concerto for BASS tuba.
