I'm sorry to hear about your misfortune with Beethoven. Fortunately for me, the Florida Philharmonic is a salaried (rather than per service) orchestra so when they do a Beethoven festival I get paid to sit at home and do things like make posts on the Tube-Net. A great gig if you can get it...
