Your local music store can help here. Get a good cleaning kit (which will cost a few bucks) and some advise (which they will generally give for free). Be prepared to spend a few hours as you baby this thing clean. You will be able to do a nice job if you are careful and persistant. You can have the music store clean if for you for a much higher price, and replace any (and all) felts and corks which the horn will certainly need.
The TLC really comes in after the horn is play ready :-)
