I have a mirafone 188 5-rotor CC prototype for sale. It has a mirafone leadpipe, valve section and bell. the tubing between the valve section and the bell are all Rudy Meinl. It has an up-and-down tuning slide like Rudy Meinl horns. The large tubing is wrapped more openly than the typical 188. It blows more freely and has a bigger sound than any 188 that I have played.
It is a beautiful horn and is in great condition. Very few dings or dents. Has a new
Mirafone nickel-silver leadpipe. A great large 4/4 CC. Incredible low register. Great valves. Well taken care of. Unlacquered but very clean. Comes with a Reunion Blues bag and a hard case. Asking $5500, you pay shipping. I live in the Los Angeles area if you'd like to try it out. reply via e-mail.
