I play in a Quintet with a couple of trumpet players who both use Monette trumpets exclusively. I play on an old Meinl Weston CC model 30 5 valve CC (circa 1958)and am looking for something with similar full sound but some better intonation. I don't want a 3/4 but would like it to be somewhat compact. Any ideas?
