Yes, Miraphone makes piston valve tubas. The model 1245 is a 4 piston 1 rotor 5/4 CC that is a little odd and a couple of piston BBb horns that should never have been built(in my opinion). If you get a Brasswind catalog, they have pictures of each model. The CC is odd because, at a glance, all the valves and valve tubing is oriented up and away from the center of the horn, leaving this hole above the bottom bow. It plays okay but doesn't put out 5/4 worth of sound. This $.02 may be overvalued too.
