Why, yes! I got my Master's Degree at Carnegie Mellon University, studying with him. He is one of the finest orchestral players out there. His teaching approach is somewhat unusual, and I get the impression that he has a bit of a reputation as a maverick in the tuba world. What do you want to know? Feel free to email me.
