Nope. It's not too long a drive nor too brief a trial. 15 minutes (or less) is all I need to know all I need to know about a tuba.
The INFORMATION (not the 10-15 minutes playing time) is well worth the drive time.
I've spent more hours than that (on various pursuits of knowledge) and found out a lot less.
