Thanks to TubeNet, and one poster in particular, I converted in 1997 from a mere self-taught hacker to a serious student/player/performer on the tuba.
That one poster is, alas, no longer active on the BBS nor, for that matter, with the tuba. But I am forever grateful to that person for inspiring me to make tuba much more than just a casual pastime, and to Sean for maintaining the BBS.
