My Cronkhite bad is tight. but leather stretches over time, so I am unworried.
My 163 had a Miraphone 190 leadpipe put on it for a while many years prior to my owning it. The result was apparently not all that good, and the owner had them swapped back a few years later. My Alex is pretty good, pitch-wise. But I have strongly considered trying a new Alexander CC leadpipe with a normal-sized receiver on it.
