A borescope for this job sounds like overkill. Ferree's Tools (they make the most comprehensive catalog full on instrument repair tools) sells a simple valve alignment tool - which works. No expensive borescopes - those are for internal combustion engines anyway.
Next thing you guys will be doing colonoscopies on your horns. Freud would love it.
