Pushing rather than pulling (when it's otherwise convenient) solves the going-around-a-corner-quickly problem, but not the problem of wheels too small of diameter. It's the peach-pit principle--a roller skate can trip on a peach pit that a bicycle tire barely feels. If the resultant force on the case (gravity going down, centrifugal force from rounding a corner going to the side) falls outside the track of the wheels, it will tip. Pushing the case keeps that from happening. A wider track keeps that from happening. But those 2" wheels will still trip over a peach pit, or other similar obstruction.
