The Univ. of Alabama School of Music hosts a Summer Music Camp, or at least they used to.
It was a week long, and focused on both symphonic band and chamber ensembles. I was able to perform in a brass choir, tuba-euph ensemble, tuba quartet, brass quintet, and trombone quartet throughout the years I was there (10 years ago), not to mention the usual symphonic band.
Masterclasses, peer concerts, cookouts, and performances by some collegiate chamber groups were some of the highlights also. It was a good experience for me at the time.
