Oh yes... I've been the route of trying to hold the mirror, a small flashlight, and peeping under/over my glasses to get a good glimpse of the piston ports. I've also used the little measuring devices with the hook on the bottom. I will buy a borescope in the very near future simply because I'm tired of having one hand less that I need to do the job quickly.
