I think it is important to but tubas unseen from which ever dealer will save you $29.95. That way, when it doesn't work out you can spend hundreds to ship it back. I recommend repeating this procedure at least 5 times. It may seem wasteful to loose all that money on shipping but it has 2 advantages:

1. You get to waste that money on shipping instead of an airline ticket to a good tuba shop. Lord knows that the Airline indusrty doesn't need the money!

2. When you don't get better, at least you can blame it on the horn.
