There not all that popular over in my part of the States, but some players find they have good points. Certainly they are a good usable tuba, if not the most desired. This helps keep the resale value down, and I've seen several for sale used for between $1500 to 2000 or so. I picked up one with good valves, but needs some school use type of repairs for $500, but I shop around more than most. HTH
