I would do something that explains to them how they could easily play a brass instrument. Take away the mystery, show how easy it is. Explain the fundamentals and how the valves work, and why sometimes the valves work better than at other times. Demonstrate the types of sounds which are possible and how you would use them.
I once gave a speech in college(7 minutes) on how anyone could play any song on the guitar with 3 chords. The class really responded because it was in terms they could relate to, how they could do it for themselves.
