Nobody seemed to know or care. I watched it for a little bit, but it got boring fast and I wandered away. [I never got to find out what the real range of a tuba is.] It seems like a funny idea in principle, but in reality it isn't. The tuba/projectile -- donated by Dillon's -- looked like it must have been beautiful many, many years ago. The tosses cost fifty cents each, and there was joking that the prize would be the remains of the ex-tuba.
