I have limited experience with the Sterlings. I played several of them at the Army Tuba-Euph Conference in 2001. I liked all of the ones I tried.
I have a Willson 2900 that I have owned since '86, and it is my "baby". The Sterling horns that I have played are the only horns that I would want to replace my "baby" with, if I ever had to. That includes most of the 2900's I have played since I joined the Army.
