Not all Conns play alike. I got a better playing 56j, and was lucky about it because it was the only one available. I've tried a couple more since I bought mine, and they didn't even come close to mine in terms of responce, intonation, or tone. Thats why the only solution to this is to sit down with several dozen horns of varying brand, and take several hours, or days, play-testing them. You'll be most satisified because you'll have what you consider the pick of the litter.
