Well, I can tell you that the person who picked up the 6/4 piston Culberston horn in our showroom by the LEADPIPE did not know how to handle a larger instrument. The NEW leadpipe will be arriving in the near future to replace the one that was ripped of the brace and halfway out of the valve section.
I agree with Rick that certain instruments would be better with specific "hand holds" for picking up those that are more weighty and delicate.
