Since I am looking at rotary-valve instruments again, what is a good lubricant for these valves? I've been looking at Alisyn, mainly because it's locally available. However, I really like Hetman's piston valve lubricants. How does the rotary version work? Lastly, how do you maintain rotary valves? Any tips? What are the benefits of putting a few drops of oil down the leadpipe?
