As far as I can tell, the bell and bottom bow is the same on the 103 and the 621. That 4th valve certainly does come at a premium doesn't it? I wonder if the reason that Yamaha quit making the 103 was that it was perceived as competition for the 621 series. The YBB-105 is certainly not as good a product in my opinion.
