Everyone who says that 10K is too much is right. On the other hand, I paid a premium for my MW2000, as compared to a MW2155, and think it's worth every penny. Was it more money than any other similar horn I tried? With the exception of a Hirsbrunner I played, the answer is yes. The MW2000 also had all the playing characteristics I wanted, the best intonation, and the best sound overall. Considering that, was it too much? My answer is an emphatic NO!!
Perhaps the 45 SLP that Warren owned is over priced. When the horn and the right player come together, it will be the cheapest instrument ever bought.
