Don't worry! Many states(those that are enlightened at least) mandate a set number fine arts credits within the curriculum for a student to graduate. Check out those states in which you desire to teach for such requirements. Even the poorest schools within a given state will have at the very least a band program, simply because the band is there to support the football team(sadly). Playing jobs is another subject altogether. Good Luck
