Klaus, when did I ever advocate playing out of tune (even as a section)?
Did it occur to you that a section of novices playing instruments all in the same key might be able to play IN tune, by using similar strategies?
But if some of the musicians cannot play in tune, I'd rather be with them than against them. I'm sorry if you cannot live with that, but, in fact, you don't have to.
