If you would like to get in for "cheap" and have something that sounds nice, plays in tune, has a very nice two-piece original indestructable case, is a current respected major brand with parts still made and available, and can be shipped via U.P.S. (cheap shipping)...

I have a not-so-new-looking (not quite ready for sale yet) 3-valve King 1240 (I think that's the correct model designation.) "Symphony Bass"...detachable recording bell...full size instrument.

I plan to remove some dents and repair a few unsoldered braces to make it a solid, dependable, and acceptable-looking instrument with no "issues". It has some shine, but one should not expect a "show piece". This would be a great "first tuba"...at least if YOU think it would.

It's $895 + shipping.
