Correct me if I'm wrong, but Kalmus does not hold copyright on most of their works (some critical editions being the exception) and if you can borrow a part to, for example, Tchakiovsky 6th, then there's no legal reason why you can't photocopy it. Prokofiev, Respighi and Hindemith may still be under copyright, but Berlioz, Strauss, Wagner and Mahler (at least the Kalmus parts that I own) are all out of copyright.
