All I know is that this ruling came from the US Supreme Court sometime last week. I heard about it on a Saturday humor-news show and a colleague at work heard the case discussed on NPR before the ruling. I was drawing attention to the story more in humorous vein based on the argument that an intoxicated tubist was dangerous. I had no idea it would strike such a sensitive nerve on both sides of the drug testing-civil liberities debate. I had no serious intentions whatsoever by making my original post but found the debate quite engaging.
