About the valve, a #2 valve from a conn sousaphone works in the #3 spot for the 10J(or at least in my case).The bells that have been offered are really too nice for my project. I have a late 50's/early 60's bell front BBb186 4v that I let my middle school band kids use. I was looking for the upright section, or a bell that had damage to the lower portion that I could cut and add the collar to it.Thank you for all of the leads and replies.Still looking for the #1 valve.
