AIMS is the rather unfortunate anagram for the American Institute of Musical Studies which takes place in Graz, Austria. It is a training program mainly geared towards singers to help them get jobs in Europe. They also put together an orchestra, which used to pay room and board, I don't know how it works now. I was there in 1979 and again in 1982. Graz is very beautiful. Positive experience, the offices are in Dallas, look them up. John
