Yamaha USA must've wanted a real premium for the YBB 841, since the German site given below advertises the 641 for 5033 euros and the 841E for 6333 euro and the 841GE with a gold-brass bell for 6790 euros. With the current exchange rate (0.8813 euros per USD) that gives US prices of $4436, $5581 and $5984, not unreasonable for a top-notch BBb.
