I'm an MSU graduate (Master's '84, Ph.D. '87) in music composition and was a bass trombone applied major. The school good, the current director of bands (John Whitwell) is trememdous and Phil Sinder is a great player and a really great guy. Even if they did blow it in the 1st round of the NCAA on Friday, I'd still give it strong consideration.
